Owner and Travel AdvisorAugusto—Gus, or as we like to call him, FunGus—is passionate about crafting dream vacations down to the smallest details. A skilled negotiator, he always advocates for his clients to secure the best possible deals. Born in Portugal and raised in Cape Cod, MA, Gus holds an MBA from Northeastern University and has spent his life exploring the world. He’s lived in France and Brazil and speaks four languages fluently: English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish. Before becoming a full-time travel advisor, Gus worked as a software consultant in financial services—a career he doesn’t miss one bit! Now, he lives out his true passion by helping travelers from all walks of life turn their dream vacations into reality. His favorite adventure so far? A life-changing tour of Israel with a group of 40 amazing travelers. At the top of his bucket list is Iceland. Gus has been married to Valeria since 1996, and together they have two wonderful children, Jonathan and Tori, along with their beloved Yorkie, Cacau.

Whether it’s a themed group cruise, a European extravaganza, a girls’ shopping getaway, or a snow-filled weekend, she knows how to turn any trip into a memorable experience with exciting activities and carefully curated itineraries. Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Valeria moved to the U.S. in 1996 when she married Gus. With a background in theatre—another one of her lifelong passions—she thrives on creativity and connection. When she’s not traveling or planning the next great adventure, she’s running her Drama Kids business, where she helps children build confidence through the power of drama. That same confidence is what she hopes to inspire in her fellow travelers as they step out to explore the world. Valeria holds a BBS degree with a concentration in Marketing and finds joy in faith, family, and discovering new destinations. Her favorite adventure so far? A 20-day group journey through Europe, visiting England, France, Italy, and Greece. Next on her bucket list? Exploring Spain, the homeland of her ancestors.
